The Australian Government are starting work on developing a framework for sharing Australia\u2019s Commonwealth fisheries resources. The framework is intended to provide a clear way to allocate and re-allocate fishing resources. Commonwealth-managed fisheries are those that generally occur outside 3 nautical miles from the shore. You can find more about each fishery from the Australian Fisheries Management Authority’s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To help inform the drafting of a framework the Australian Government is inviting all fisheries stakeholders, including recreational fishers to have their say and express their needs for the fishery. <\/p>\n\n\n\nSurvey Open<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
