A “Golden ???????? Tag” program has been announced by Jaala Pulford MP<\/a> and Victorian Fisheries Authority<\/a> in the coming months to drive much-needed fishing tourism to our fire affected communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A $500,000 prize pool has been announced with 1,000 fish to be tagged across the North East and East Gippsland. The first 10 tags are worth $10K and fish caught after that rewarded with $2K.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many of the communities impacted by the bushfire crisis are some of our most beloved fishing destinations with many local businesses relying upon fishing-related tourism. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
