VRFish works in partnership with researchers and fisheries managers to share with you with the best available information and advice that you can adopt and incorporate into your fishing. This advice underpins sustainable fisheries management, builds better fisheries and importantly makes fishing better for everyone.

People new to fishing, such as children, who are starting their fishing journey need to be supported by all fishers to help instil the right ethics and behaviours early on.

With the popularity of catch and release fishing, research is yielding new information about how we can care for our catch and maximise post-release survival.
