These changes reflect the important social value of trout by Victorian anglers. Brown and rainbow trout are the mainstay of our inland fisheries in Victoria and offer many different fishing experiences to a range of anglers. Our survey canvasing views on the proposal with anglers supported this diversity with many different views presented. We look forward to seeing how the trial performs in terms of fishing quality and fisher experience.
