The Rhyll boating facility is getting an upgrade thanks to the State Government’s unprecedented investment in boating in Victoria.
Better Boating Victoria (BBV) is overseeing the delivery of the government’s boating commitments and the Rhyll boating facility upgrade in close consultation with Bass Coast Shire Council.
The upgrade will deliver a safer boating facility that will provide a better launching experience, improved traffic flows, improved pedestrian safety and more parking.
AW Maritime have been engaged by BBV to develop concept plans for an improved facility at Rhyll and BBV wants to hear what you have to say about the plans.
To facilitate this discussion, BBV, Maritime Safety Victoria and the Victorian Fisheries Authority will be hosting a community event about the project. So, if you want to see the draft plans and have your say in helping build a better boating facility at Rhyll then come along.
The feedback BBV receives from the community event will inform a final concept design that will be used as the basis for the future upgrade.
This project is part of the Government’s $47.2 million commitment to deliver urgent upgrades to six of the state’s busiest public boat ramps, remove parking and launching fees and review infrastructure management at Port Phillip and Western Port.
