Social values and decision making in mangrove restoration

Recfishers interested in the future of mangrove restoration in Australia are asked to take part in a short survey by Deakin University’s Blue Carbon Lab.

Blue Carbon Lab are on a mission to make mangrove restoration projects more successful, transparent and inclusive.

Through this survey, the researchers aim to understand “the general use of decision tools among decision-makers of decision tools in the context of mangrove restoration projects, the extent to which they consider social values to make decisions and the potential challenges they face.”

The final results will be used to propose strategies for overcoming barriers that limit the inclusion of social values in mangrove restoration as a decision component.

The online survey consists of 29 questions and should take no longer than 16 minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous and confidential.
