Parks Victoria is developing a new plan for St Leonards Pier and the adjoining waters managed by Parks Victoria.
Parks Victoria are currently conducting initial background research, technical investigations and early stakeholder engagement which will be used to inform a draft plan. The draft plan will be released in Summer 2023-24 for wider community consultation.
VRFish have been contacted by Parks Victoria to assist in informing the draft plan.
There are two questions that are being asked of stakeholders through the initial planning process.
The questions are:
- What’s important to you in planning a better future for St Leonards Pier and surrounding waters?
- What are the key issues or challenges that impact on your use and enjoyment of the St Leonards local port area?

Consultation closes 5pm Monday 13 November 2023.
The draft plan will be released to the wider community for feedback in early 2024.
