The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) has prepared a draft Marine and Coastal Policy is undertaking public consultation until 15 August 2019.
VRFish will be reviewing the policy to ensure access to our fish stocks is secure and that decisions made in the marine and coastal environment are consistent with the needs of recreational fishers.
We invite recreational fishers to also provide any feedback to VRFish using [email protected] on the draft policy to assist in the formulation of our submission. You can find all the draft documents on the Engage Victoria website.
A final version of the policy is expected in December.
