You are invited to participate in a survey conducted by Monash University and VRFish to better understand safe handling practices for sharks and rays caught by recreational fishers. If you would like to participate in the survey please click on the ‘Start Survey’ button or click here to begin. It should take 15-20 minutes to complete.
To thank you for your time, on completion you will have the option to enter into a draw for 1 of 3 $100 vouchers for your preferred tackle store.
Your participation will help us to determine and develop best practice guidelines for the safe handling of sharks and rays and to develop information to assist recreational fishers to safely handle sharks and rays. All surveys are completed anonymously and the survey has been approved by Monash University’s Ethics Committee (MUREC Project number: 21940).
