The Shire of Strathbogie have written to VRFish to inform us the are commencing a review of speed limits and zones on Lake Nagambie and the Goulburn River from Hughes Creek to the Goulburn Weir citing concerns about safety and increasing numbers of water users.

Specifically, they have requested feedback on:

  • State and/or Regional issues that are relevant to the waterway
  • Relevant plans or strategies
  • Incidents or near misses that have come to your organisation’s attention
  • Providing a local or regional representative’s contact details

After strategic options have been developed a public consultation process will occur.

Drop VRFish a line on [email protected].au to submit any feedback before the 28 February 2020.
