Report a Public Land Access Issue

If you have been locked out or blocked from accessing public land in Victoria, we want to hear about it.

It could be a spot you’ve accessed that suddenly has a locked gate or a fence installed, ‘Keep Out’ signage, blocked unused roads, closed public tracks or anything else blocking our access to public land.

Below, you’ll find a form to share details regarding a public land access issue including:

the location (please be as specific as possible including address/town/postcode/waterway)
what the access issue is (ie. a locked gate)
when the issue occurred (ie. January 2025)
the option to include any other relevant information

By sharing your access issues with VRFish, we can identify and consult on public access restrictions and issues with the Victorian State Government.
