Following our recent Public Land Access Survey, we received feedback from recreational fishers that you want to be able to report public land access issues as you experience them. So, we took that feedback on board and put your requests into action.
On our website, you’ll now find a specific contact form to report a public land access issue*. Your report goes straight to VRFish and so we can identify where there are public land access issues and consult with the Victorian Government to address them.
It could be a spot you’ve accessed that suddenly has a locked gate or a fence installed, ‘Keep Out’ signage, blocked unused roads, closed public tracks or anything else blocking our access to public land.
When completing the Report a Public Land Access Issue form, you’ll be asked to share details regarding a public land access issue including:
- the location (please be as specific as possible including address/town/postcode/waterway)
- what the access issue is (ie. a locked gate)
- when the issue occurred (ie. January 2025)
- the option to include any other relevant information
*If you submit a report, your personal details will remain confidential.
If preferred, you can also send through any information to [email protected]
