Do you go fishing at Rhyll? It’s time to have your say on the draft local port area plan.
Parks Victoria have released the draft Rhyll Local Port Area Plan and are encouraging the local community to have their say. The plan will guide the future use and management of the Rhyll jetty and surrounding waters.
The draft plan shows a proposed jetty design which will involve a full upgrade of the structure. The proposed design consists of a symmetrical pontoon design using the existing pontoon and a new pontoon to the east.
Public consultation closes 12 August. The final plan is expected to be released in winter 2024.
