Glenelg Hopkins Catchment Management Authority (GHCMA) is renewing the Glenelg Estuary and Discovery Bay Ramsar Site Management Plan.
The Glenelg Estuary and Discovery Bay Ramsar Site Management Plan aims to protect and enhance the site’s ecological values through coordinated agency efforts. The draft plan builds on the previous management plan, incorporating an updated risk assessment aligned with Australian government guidelines.
The draft plan has been developed through consultative and collaborative process with the responsible agencies, Traditional Owners, technical experts, and other stakeholders to review and analyse available data and evidence.
The GHCMA is now seeking your feedback on the draft plan.
